At DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station, we are looking for a Front Office Manager to lead one of the largest and most dynamic Front Office operations in the Netherlands.
Our hotel offers the award-winning rooftop bar LuminAir, the vibrant WE ARE EDN restaurant and bar, Amsterdam’s most extensive breakfast buffet, and an in-house LOT61 coffee store. With 557 guest rooms and 15 versatile meeting rooms, our hotel is a dynamic and exciting place to work.
As Front Office Manager, you report to the Director of Operations and are responsible for leading the Front Office and Duty Management teams. You drive daily operations at the Front Desk together with the Head Concierge and Assistant Front Office Manager, ensuring a seamless guest journey from arrival to departure in a high-volume, fast-faced environment where service excellence and efficiency go hand in hand.
You are a visible leader and coach, fostering an engaged and high-performing team culture where development, recognition, and accountability are key. You ensure your team delivers exceptional service and embodies the Hilton Values. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership and leading from the front during peak moments, and handle guest feedback and challenges with confidence and professionalism.
You are accountable for performance and results, including guest satisfaction scores, loyalty program (Hilton Honors) targets, and commercial opportunities. You build strong collaboration across departments, particularly with Housekeeping and Reservations, ensuring smooth operations and outstanding guest experiences.
Additionally, you play an important role in Safety & Security compliance, lead performance reviews and talent development, and partner closely with HR on recruitment and onboarding. You actively identify improvements in processes and contribute to innovation within the Front Office and Duty Management teams.

Who are we looking for?
To fulfil this position successfully, it is important that you have the following skills:
Proven leadership experience within Front Office operations in a hotel environment
Strong commercial awareness and analytical mindset
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
Strong stakeholder management and cross-department collaboration skills
Experience in coaching and developing teams
Fluent in English and Dutch; additional languages are a plus
Experience with PMS (OnQ / PEP preferred) and Microsoft Office
A proactive, hands-on leadership style
Please note this role requires flexible working including flexible hours, weekends and bank holidays.
