Pastry Chef - Maastricht

Contract: Fulltime based on 5 days per week

Work Hours: between 6 am and 2 pm

THE ROLE

You work closely with the Executive Chef and together with the other Pastry Chef you are jointly resposnsible for the long-term strategy of the restaurant. You are responsible for creating new desserts, all patisserie (cakes, pastries, biscuits, etc.) and occasionally assist at breakfast if necessary. In addition, you ensure that the kitchen team consistently follows the recipes and methods of preperation. You are highly motivated and you continuously develop and improve your skills. You have a creative mindset, you lead by example and you inspire and motivate the kitchen team.

HARRY'S

Brasserie Harry’s is located since 1912 in a historic building in Wyck, Maastricht. It boasts a vibrant dining room and a large open kitchen. The bar area welcomes guests on a walk-in basis for lunch and dinner, and is open continuously for a good glass of wine or cocktail. The weekly changing seasonal menu highlights the restaurant’s connection with its own farm, as well as local producers and suppliers.
