To supplement our five-star team, we are immediately looking for an enthusiastic Technical Service employee.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting and carrying out repairs to (production/kitchen equipment, installations, facilities, sanitary facilities, lighting, etc.), in the electrical and mechanical fields. Tracing the cause of the fault, dismantling and replacing/repairing parts, checking proper operation.
- Carrying out periodic checks and maintenance/cleaning work on equipment in the kitchen, buffets and installations (maintenance on lifts, air conditioning, cooling, sprinkler systems, etc. is outsourced (via maintenance contracts).
- Carrying out installation work in the electrical field, including installing wiring in accordance with regulations. Installing or expanding cabling for signaling systems or data transmission.
- Preparing and participating in renovations and work carried out by external companies in the context of major maintenance and maintenance of parking lots and sewers. Carrying out various assignments, such as replacing windows.
- Managing the work inventory (installation materials, consumables, spare parts) and your own workspace and equipment.
- Maintain contact with suppliers (via e-mail and telephone).
- Carrying out other activities related to the above on behalf of the manager.
Requirements:
- At least a completed MBO 2 technical education;
- MBO working and thinking level obtained from many years of (similar) work experience;
- Ability to work very independently and responsibly;
- Be proactive and flexible;
- Good command of the Dutch language, spoken and written. You also speak a fair amount of English and German;
- Experience in a similar position within the hotel industry is a great advantage.
