Omschrijving vacature Chef de Cuisine BlueBlood (FT):

BlueBlood, a refreshing new F&B concept with a daring cuisine that will bring new and exciting flavors to the Hilton The Hague. It’s the latest destination restaurant & bar in The Hague in which the King is the Porterhouse, the Queen is the cauliflower and the signature is the lobster. All served in an exclusive setting to the highest standards. Expected opening in March 2022.

As Chef de Cuisine of BlueBlood, you are more than a foodie. You are ready to become the ultimate flavor master of the BlueBlood Kitchen. Together with your high culinary standards, you will be challenged to share and inspire. With your team, you will always improve guests' and employee satisfaction. 
But also:
  • Supervises restaurant kitchen shift operations and ensures compliance with all Food & Beverage policies, HACCP standards, and procedures.
  • Produces superior quality products, presentations, and flavors.
  • Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menu
  • Test foods to ensure proper preparation and temperature
  • Coordinates menus, purchasing, staffing, and food preparation for the property's restaurant
  • Must ensure sanitation and food standards are achieved.
  • Develops and trains team to improve results.
  • Managing and Conducting Human Resource Activities
  • Sets and supports the achievement of kitchen goals including performance goals, budget goals, team goals, etc.

Functie eisen Chef de Cuisine BlueBlood (FT):

The blood type we’re looking for:
  • Demonstrable experience as a Chef de Cuisine and provable knowlegde about the Nikkei cuisine
  • Must have extensive knowledge about meat and seafood preparations
  • Great teamwork skills and attention to detail
  • Positive outlook and outgoing personality
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Serving as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors
  • Provides information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
  • Analyzes information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
  • Attends and participates in all pertinent meetings.
