Omschrijving vacature Financial Administrator:

 In a competitive sector like ours it is essential that our hotels have solid financial framework. You will assist in the financial accounting and control, including complex analyses for the six hotels in the Netherlands. Your focus will be on the income audit and cashiering of the hotels. PPHE Hotel Group is the ideal location for you to develop your skills and you will work in a vibrant environment together with a young and eager team. As Financial Administrator you will be a member of the centralized finance team in The Netherlands, based in Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam, however also visiting other properties.

Functie eisen Financial Administrator:

Your responsibilities:
As Financial Administrator your main tasks and responsibilities include, however are not limited to, the following responsibilities:

 Financial Control:
  • Ensures full compliance with Group policies relating to cashiering and income audit and reports and investigates any variances;
  • Controls whole cash cycle in The Netherlands by updating the cash in transit and follow up on differences;
  • Prepares all income audit paperwork and make sure it is archived and accessible;
  • First point of contact for questions and user management with regards to our automated cash recyclers;
  • Assist in prepare consistent, on-time and fully reconciled ledgers both balance sheet and P&L;
  • Monthly balance sheet and P&L variance analysis on designated areas.
 Ongoing improvement & optimisation:
  • Actively work with the Business Controllers and hotel teams to drive the quality and speed of processes;
  • Prepare (ad-hoc) reports to analyze figures and suggest improvements.
 What we are looking for:
  • You are a young-professional who just completed a MBO/HBO level education in the field of Finance, Economics, Business Administration or Hotel Management;
  • You have a passion for hotel operations and the overall hospitality industry;
  • You engage positively: you have great communication skills in Dutch and English. In this role you the point of contact for cashiering and income audit for the Business Controllers and operational teams;
  • You are punctual and you have knowledge of the basic accounting principles;
