Floor Supervisor
Your remit:
Floor Supervisors with Motel One assist with the smooth and efficient operation of the Housekeeping Department. Our Floor Supervisors are responsible for ensuring all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and presented to Motel One brand standards.
As a Floor Supervisor with Motel One, you will be primarily responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Assist with the organisation of the Housekeeping Department, including implementing all necessary standards and work flow schedules
- Daily deployment and supervision of external contract cleaning company staff
- Daily monitoring of cleanliness standards in guest rooms and all public areas
- Daily inspection of house operations with a view to troubleshooting
- Report maintenance faults to Maintenance Technician and liaise with them regarding repairs
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of the Motel One internal quality assurance system and the integrated check lists
- Monitoring of storage cupboards and housekeeping trolleys to ensure they are sufficiently stocked and well presented
- Secondary cleaning if required and/or liaison with external contract cleaning company staff
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times
- Maintain good communication with all departments in the hotel
- Ensure that both the GM and Head Housekeeper are kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and, or, other departments
- Comply with hotel security & fire regulations and all health & safety regulations
