Omschrijving vacature Front-office Coordinator:

As Front Office Coordinator at Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam – North Riverside with 438 bedrooms and 2 meeting rooms and Holiday Inn Express Almere with 160 bedrooms, you will assign rooms according to guests' request and preferences whenever possible. You will work closely with the Front Office and Reservation departments to deliver key metrics in line with IHG brand standards.
As Front Office Coordinator, you will:
  • organize and coordinate check-in/pre-registration procedures for the upcoming arrivals, run reports and complete specific checklists;
  • communicate status to appropriate staff members;
  • review out-of-order rooms daily;
  • block upcoming reservations into rooms, balancing room categories;
  • prepare for upcoming groups arriving by reviewing group resumes and accommodating any specific billing and/or reservation requests;
  • work with other departments on a regular basis to ensure the day's operations run smoothly;
  • verify and adjust billing for guests;
  • reply to guest messages and process them in the reservation system
  • reply to guest reviews;
  • perform duplicate reservation checks; block rooms;
  • follow up with guests to ensure their requests or problems have been met to their satisfaction;
  • follow all hotel policies and procedures and ensure brand standards are met.

Functie eisen Front-office Coordinator:

To be successful in this role, you need:
  • MBO/HBO or relevant degree level of education.
  • Experience in Reservations or FO department is an advantage.
  • Experience with Opera is an extra advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Dutch, both written and spoken.
  • Organisational, negotiating and communication skills.
  • You are: proactive, adaptable, independent, problem-solving and have decision-making skills.
  • Able to work under pressure, to prioritize and to meet deadlines.
