This is an outstanding opportunity to join DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station.

The hotel has 557 stylish guest rooms including 48 fantastic suites and 3 resident roof gardens. City Café, Eastwood, Lobby Bar, Executive Lounge and our very own Starbucks are great destination hotspots in the city. The first floor accommodates extensive meetings and events possibilities with 15 flexible meeting rooms.
The SkyLounge Amsterdam, with rooftop terrace, on the highest floor of the hotel, is a stylish meeting place with baristas, cocktail experts and a DJ daily. From the top floor, guests can enjoy an amazing 360-degree view of the historic town, Amsterdam.
 

Functie eisen Front Office Supervisor:

To be a successful Reception Shiftleader you will have outstanding customer service skills and a genuine passion for service delivery and creating an excellent customer experience. A natural, confident communicator and excellent team leader / player, you will be quick thinking and responsive with the ability to adapt to changing guests' needs. You will have a solid background within all areas of the Front Office, supervising the daily operation of reception and switchboard along with a good understanding of hotel operations. Experience of working with OnQ will be a distinct advantage, and service excellence will be top of your personal list of priorities, as it is ours.

With this in mind you will ideally already be a Reception Shiftleader or experienced Receptionist in a 4 or 5 star hotel and looking for a new and exciting challenge. Your communication skills will be exceptional and you will have had previous experience of working with a PMS system ideally OnQ as well as good Microsoft Office knowledge. Supporting a strong working relationship between Front Office and the Reservations team will be a key aspect of your role to ensure the highest levels of guest service and achievement of business objectives.
