Omschrijving vacature IT Support intern - July 2023:

Our goal is to show you the ‘world’ of IT; you will ensure the IT experience runs with optimal performance, security and stability. You will be part of our corporate Technology & Business Solutions team, based in The Netherlands with international technology specialists. You as our IT Intern will focus on the end user support for desktops, laptops and business applications. This includes ticket management, assisting with problem management and installations and registration of new hardware and more. As an IT Intern you have to be flexible and ready to take initiative – no day will be the same.

Functie eisen IT Support intern - July 2023:

We are looking for an IT Intern from July 2023 who:

Follows an IT related study with a minimum level of MBO 3

Has a good command of the English language and excellent interpersonal, communication skills

Has the ability to deal with a wide variety of people with tact, courtesy and professionalism while often maintaining confidentiality;

Has a passion for the hospitality industry;

Is available from July for a minimum period of 5 months.

Key tasks and responsibilities:
Day to day:

Assist with high quality and timely support for 1st line technical support cases and problem resolution in line with Service Level Agreements.

Operational:

Assist with registration configuration and support desktops, laptops and other end-user devices.
Assist with delivering/receiving equipment from starters/leavers and registration.

Assist with maintaining detailed documentation and asset inventory.

Assist with procuring suitable equipment from various vendors.

Communicate with vendors.

Assist with performing hardware and software installation procedures.

Assist the IT Support Team in diagnosing hardware (as printers and scanners and other peripherals) and software issues and troubleshooting activities.

Document processes in reference manuals for training and guidance.

Handle IT-related documentation.

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and privileged information.

Business Development:

Assist with projects related to the Technology & Business Solutions department.
