Let’s introduce myself, my name is Nadia, and I am the HR Business Partner working at Pestana Amsterdam Riverside, a beautiful monumental hotel along the Amstel River where we are looking for passionate colleagues to join our team. Pestana Amsterdam Riverside has 154 modern and historical rooms, a spa with one of the largest indoor swimming pools of Amsterdam, a well-equipped gym and 10 meeting rooms where we host events up to 200 people. What will you be doing:

• Ensures the operation of technical facilities works properly in the hotel, in collaboration with the Head of Technical Services.
• Performs minor renovation work.
• Performs repair work in hotel rooms and will ensure guest privacy at all times.
• Prevents or resolves malfunctions of technical facilities.
• Follows preventive maintenance plan.
• Follows water hygiene (pool) procedures.
• Respects and follows all procedures related to legionella.
• Apply the hotel safety regulations (in case of fire etc.).
• Actively contribute to the safety of guests and their property (release of emergency exits, etc.)

Job Requirements:

• Experience in the Hotel industry is a pre.
• Good communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Someone who can work individually as well as in a team.
• Flexible and a hands-on mentality.

• Enthusiastic and positive.
• Have knowledge and experience with computers/software/systems is very welcome.
