Main role and objectives:
As a Night Manager you will oversee the supervision of the Front Office Team during the night, and you report directly to the FO Manager. You take care of a smooth check-in/check-out procedure, but you will also co-ordinate and evaluate the department’s financial performance. You are responsible of analyzing departmental performance to identify reductions, ensure cost effectiveness and submit accurate forecasts. Your responsibility takes yourself and your colleagues to the next level. Furthermore you will manage record and promptly resolve issues or emergencies that arise.
Job role responsibilities:
- Manager On Duty at night
- Prepare night audit reports
- Monitor customer accounts and verifying accuracy of registration information
- All Front Office related tasks, including informing guests on hotel services and surroundings
- Supply limited services as night-concierge and night-housekeeper, as well as room service
- Set high standards and carry the standards forward to the night team
- Responsible for overall Night Auditor performance
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers
- Independent judgment, and decisiveness in appropriate situations
