Amsterdam-Zuidoost is the heart of the business district of Amsterdam. As Restaurant Manager you are responsible for the daily operation and to maintain the highest level of service in the F&B department at the Courtyard by Marriott Amsterdam Arena Atlas.


·        You will manage and distribute work among yourself and the staff in the restaurant and the bar using everyone’s qualities and skills accordingly.

·        You will lead by example and motivate and engage the staff in the department through "learning by doing”.

·        You will make sure that the guest has an experience that exceeds their expectations by delivering a caring and professional service in a relaxed and stylish environment.

·        You will actively and visibly participate in the daily operations, this includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.

·        You will proactively build a long-term relationship with guests, key partners and your team.

·        You will be recruiting, doing the onboarding, and shaping a well-functioning team.

·        You make sure that the team is informed about the daily operations and use each opportunity to train your team in delivering an even greater service.

·        You will train and motivate employees so that they handle alcohol responsibly, HACCP standards and serve according to agreed service procedures.

·        You participate in security walk rounds over the property to ensure both guest and staff safety.

·        You participate in the Manager on Duty schedule together with other managers of the hotel on rotation basis.

·        You are responsible for the Beverage cost and purchasing of the department and will ensure the best possible result to achieve budget.

·        You are involved in the budget process to establish revenue and cost for the upcoming year, including CAPEX cost. 

About you

·        Open personality and attitude

·        Leader with attention to service, detail, and quality

·        Extensive experience in leading positions within hotel, restaurant, or meeting business.

·        Broad knowledge and a passion of F&B

·        Good knowledge of guest service

·        Proficient user of MS Office and hotel and restaurant systems.

·        International experience and training are an advantage.
