We are ibis Schiphol Amsterdam Airport, boasting 644 rooms, 6 F&B outlets, 5 meeting rooms, and a dedicated team of 90 colleagues who consistently go above and beyond to ensure our guests' needs are met!


Currently, we are seeking a Sous Chef to join our team!


Our hotel features multiple F&B outlets including a Burger bar, an A la carte restaurant, and a buffet restaurant. As we frequently cater to stranded airport guests, each day brings new challenges and surprises, making this role truly adventurous! We prioritize efficiency and innovation, and we're seeking a candidate brimming with fresh ideas to elevate our dining experiences. The ability to multitask and maintain composure across all outlets is essential.


Here's what you'll be responsible for:


  • Crafting new menus;
  • Organizing and optimizing various kitchens;
  • Training new staff members;
  • And, of course, actively participating in kitchen preparations and buffet services.

Rest assured, you won't be tackling these tasks alone! Our Head Chef, Michael, will provide guidance and support whenever necessary.
