ibis Styles Rotterdam Ahoy is looking for an enthusiastic colleague to join our team as a Dishwasher on a zero-hours contract. This is a flexible role where no two days are the same, and where you play an important part in creating a great experience for our guests.

Our hotel has 250 rooms and is located in the Hart van Zuid, just a stone’s throw away from Rotterdam Ahoy Convention Centre and Zuidplein. Our restaurant and terrace overlook the Zuiderpark and aim to be the Italian hotspot of Rotterdam South, serving freshly prepared Neapolitan sourdough pizzas and Italian-inspired cocktails.

Job Description

Your tasks and responsibilities include:

• Washing and cleaning dishes, cutlery, glassware and kitchen equipment;

• Keeping the dishwashing area clean, tidy and organised;

• Returning clean equipment and materials to the correct place, ready for use;

• Supporting the kitchen and restaurant teams where needed;

• Working in accordance with applicable hygiene and safety standards;

• Keeping work areas and equipment clean;

• Collecting and disposing of waste correctly;

• Working closely with the Kitchen and F&B teams to ensure smooth daily operations;

• Carrying out other duties as requested by the Chef, F&B Manager or Supervisor.
