Special Personal Data

HIM only processes special personal data with your permission. Examples of special personal data are data about someone's health, race, political opinion, religious belief or criminal history.

A passport photo is also a special piece of personal data. If you choose to include your passport photo in your CV, you give permission for storage in the HIM database and the passing on of your CV including passport photo to employers who have posted vacancies on HP.nl or clients of mjpeople.nl.

Purposes of processing

We process your data to:

HLN and HVMB: organization of network events for the hospitality sector.

Forward to third parties

HIM only provides your personal data to one of its clients (your potential new employer) if you have applied directly for the position (this applies to HP.nl) or if you have given your permission for this (this applies to MJP).

These third parties are responsible for the further processing of your data. We therefore advise you to carefully read the privacy statement of the relevant third party. We have, however, made agreements with all third parties to whom we provide personal data, which stipulate that they must in any event comply with the same obligations as set out in this privacy statement.

HIM retains your personal data for as long as this is necessary for maintaining the relationship and providing job placement. HIM regularly checks whether the data held by HIM is still complete and correct. Data that is no longer necessary for the services provided by HIM will be removed. If you no longer wish to maintain a relationship with HIM, you can indicate this (1) on the relevant website if you have created an account there (2) by indicating at the bottom of a mailing via the relevant link that you no longer wish to receive the mailing or (3) send an e-mail to: info@hotelprofessionals.nl. If necessary we will then only keep your name [and ??], so that we can register that you no longer wish to be approached for vacancies and/or receive invitations or mailings.

For the storage of personal data by the employer of the vacancy for which you have applied, we refer you to its privacy policy.

Third parties

The information is not shared with third parties, other than in the cases stated in this Privacy Statement.

If such an incident has serious consequences for your privacy (a 'data leak'), we will report this to the supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority and, if necessary, inform you about this.
