Independent hotel cook - Hoofddorp

OZO Hotels is opening a brand new, modern hotel in Hoofddorp with more than 300 rooms, high-quality meeting facilities, a restaurant, a stylish lobby, a gym, and a wellness center. We are looking for an enthusiastic, independent chef. The independent chef is responsible for preparing dishes and delivering consistent quality in accordance with the hotel's guidelines. You will work independently in the kitchen and support the kitchen team in providing guests with an optimal culinary experience.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Preparing and cooking dishes according to recipes and quality standards.

• Managing your own workstation in the kitchen (mise en place, keeping it clean and organized).

• Checking the quality, freshness, and presentation of products and dishes.

• Ensuring hygiene and food safety according to HACCP guidelines.

• Contributing ideas and ideas to menu and recipe development.

• Ensuring efficient use of ingredients and limiting waste.

• Receiving, checking, and storing delivered products.

• Managing and supervising trainees or assistants if necessary.
