We are looking for a new part-time/fulltime Front Office Employee to strengthen our team for 16 – 38 hours a week.

The Nox Hotel

The Nox is a warm, luxurious boutique hotel, located a stone's throw away from the Dom Tower, like a hidden treasure. In the middle of the city centre, yet outside the bustle.

In a unique building from the 17th century, our guest are enchanted by the deep blue color of the night. Here they can escape the hectic pace of everyday life and find themselves in a world full of design, luxury, excellent service and international allure.

Job description

As Front Office Employee, you are responsible you are responsible for a wide range of tasks that takes place during the morning and evening shift.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Providing the ultimate guest experience for our hotel guests
• Checking in and out of hotel guests
• Taking reservations and processing them in our PMS system (Mews)
• Answering questions, providing tourist information
• Dealing with complaints
• Reconcile details and issues with other departments
• Creating invoices and financial settlement
• Carrying out checks on correct and prescribed administrative processing and procedures

Salary based on pay scale 4 from the Collective Labor Agreement (KHN)

Your profile:

• You are service oriented and you always go the extra mile for your guests
• You have a great sense of responsibility
• Proactive in acting and problem-solving thinking
• Resident in Utrecht or the surrounding area
• Very flexible: you can work in the mornings, evenings, weekends
• You are assertive and have the ability to work independently
• You have a sparkling personality and you dare to speak up
• You speak Dutch (basic level) and English (fluently), (other languages are an advantage)
• Experience in hospitality is an advantage
