Hotel Spaander – an iconic hotel on the harbour of Volendam – is looking for an enthusiastic Cook to join our kitchen team.

👨‍🍳 Your daily tasks

As a Cook at Hotel Spaander, you will be an all-round member of the kitchen team, responsible for delivering quality and consistency throughout the day. Your duties include:

Preparing and serving breakfast, lunch and dinner
Preparing snacks, buffets and high teas
Assisting with menu preparation and food presentation
Ensuring quality, hygiene and food safety standards
Working closely with colleagues to create a great experience for our guests

No two days are the same – from early breakfasts to busy dinners and festive high tea moments.

Who are we looking for?

You have a passion for cooking and an eye for detail
You work in an organised and hygienic manner
You are flexible and available to work weekends and holidays (in consultation)
Experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen is a plus, but motivation and willingness to learn are just as important
You are a team player with a positive attitude
