What we expect from you 

Restaurant 
· Welcoming and assisting guests in a warm, professional manner 
· Taking orders and serving food and drinks 
· Explaining the menu, the origin of ingredients and the story behind Over-Amstel Boerderij 
· Identifying and correctly communicating dietary requirements and allergies 
· Ensuring a calm atmosphere, good timing and high standards during service 
· Preparing and maintaining mise-en-place 
· Ensuring the restaurant maintains a neat and professional appearance 
· Correctly calculating bills and processing payments 
· Assisting with special packages and events 
· Complying with HACCP, hygiene and safety guidelines 

Knowledge and experience 
· Experience in the catering or hospitality sector is an advantage 
· An affinity with food, drink and seasonal produce 
· Basic knowledge of wine, non-alcoholic drinks and coffee is an advantage 
· A good command of Dutch and English is required 
· A guest-focused attitude befitting high-end hospitality 

Performance indicators 
· Guests feel personally acknowledged and well looked after throughout their entire stay. 
· Service with an eye for detail, timing and atmosphere. 
· Consistent quality in service and presentation. 
· Strict adherence to health and safety guidelines. 
· Professional teamwork. 
· A presentable and well-groomed appearance. 
· Positive collaboration with the kitchen and farm.

· A flexible, part-time role (up to 32 hours) 
· Salary scale: job group 3. Pay grade to be determined based on experience 
· 25 days’ holiday based on a 38-hour working week
