As a Waiter/ Waitress, you’ll be the warm welcome for our guests and an essential part of the restaurant experience. You’ll take orders, serve food and drinks, and ensure everything runs smoothly and hospitably, always with an eye for detail.

Many of our products come directly from our own farm, meaning you work with pure, honest ingredients and a story that you will convey to our guests. You know how to get excited about the origins of the dishes and thus contribute to a unique experience in our restaurant.
Together with your colleagues, you create a relaxed, positive atmosphere where quality and hospitality go hand in hand. You’re a go-getter, adapt effortlessly to a dynamic environment and know how to deliver high-level service. Together with the Restaurant Manager and Sommelier, you ensure that the farm-to-fork concept is tangible on our farm, in every interaction with the guest.

You are genuinely hospitable, attentive and professional. You have an unerring sense of what a guest needs and know how to stay calm and keep a clear overview, even when it’s busy. What we expect from you
Restaurant
· Welcoming and assisting guests in a warm, professional manner
· Taking orders and serving food and drinks
· Explaining the menu, the origin of ingredients and the story behind Over-Amstel Boerderij
· Identifying and correctly communicating dietary requirements and allergies
· Ensuring a calm atmosphere, good timing and high standards during service
· Preparing and maintaining mise-en-place
· Ensuring the restaurant maintains a neat and professional appearance
· Correctly calculating bills and processing payments
· Assisting with special packages and events
· Complying with HACCP, hygiene and safety guidelines
Knowledge and experience
· Experience in the catering or hospitality sector is an advantage
· An affinity with food, drink and seasonal produce
· Basic knowledge of wine, non-alcoholic drinks and coffee is an advantage
· A good command of Dutch and English is required
· A guest-focused attitude befitting high-end hospitality

· A flexible, part-time role (up to 32 hours)
· Salary scale: job group 3. Pay grade to be determined based on experience
· 25 days’ holiday based on a 38-hour working week
