Contrary to its name, WestCord Hotels is a Dutch family-owned company originating from the island of Vlieland. In the 1960s, tourism on the Wadden Islands was booming, and in 1968, baker Emo Westers decided to purchase Hotel de Wadden for his 18-year-old son Harry. This became the first WestCord Hotel.

Currently, the WestCord family includes 15 hotels spread throughout the Netherlands. Each of our hotels is unique, in theme, history or location. In our vision, a hotel should be full-service, distinctive, and adaptable to its surroundings.
