Job Description:

As an Allround Food & Beverage Waiter, you are the face of our hospitality at both DoubleTree by Hilton Rotterdam Centre and Haven Hotel Rotterdam, Curio Collection by Hilton. In this versatile role, you will work not only in our restaurant dō café bar bistro, but also at Loef, our living room & café, within the banqueting department of both hotels, and at Bar Calan, where you will create a welcoming atmosphere during the evenings.

No two days are the same: one day you may be serving the perfect coffee or lunch at dō or Loef, while the next you could be working at a banqueting event or shaking cocktails at Bar Calan in the evening. You have a natural ability to understand what guests need and always provide warm, personal, and professional service.

Together with your colleagues, you create a welcoming atmosphere where every guest feels valued and appreciated. Your energy, flexibility, and attention to detail make a difference across all of our outlets.

Your responsibilities include:

• Welcoming and assisting guests in a warm and professional manner;

• Taking orders and serving food and beverages across our different outlets;

• Advising guests on the menu and recommending dishes and drinks;

• Supporting events and gatherings within the banqueting department;

• Creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, from breakfast through evening service;

• Working closely with colleagues across both hotels to ensure smooth and efficient service;

• Maintaining a clean, organised, and professional working environment.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and guest-focused Allround Food & Beverage Waiter who enjoys variety and likes working in different areas of our hotels. You have a passion for hospitality and enjoy providing service to our guests in a restaurant, lobby café, bar, or during events.

You are flexible, sociable, and able to effortlessly adapt to different times of the day and different types of guests. With your enthusiasm and attention to detail, you ensure that every guest has a great experience, whether they are visiting us for a coffee, dinner, or an event.

Experience in hospitality is a plus, but we value your motivation, energy, and team spirit just as much. You are someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes initiative, and is always willing to go the extra mile.
