About Hotel The Anthony

Since a few years, the monastery has been converted into a hotel with 61 rooms, 29 apartments, a restaurant and a chapel for events. And even more recently, we have started a re-branding process.

We are a small company in development and want to be a place for the people from the neighborhood, the rest of the city of Utrecht and tourists. We strongly believe in connecting international guests with the local environment. At the Kanaalstraat 197 you will find the only hotel in Lombok.

Allround Technical Service Employee

Your day starts early and with a cup of coffee you go through the maintenance and repair lists and get started. There are always a number of ad hoc work that is not on this list and come in between. Our hotel guests always go before. You are good at prioritizing and coordinating all kinds of technical issues and you like to work independently in an old building and make them your own. But above all, you are very practical and hands-on: you immediately tackle the problems and also know how to prevent technical problems instead of solving them.

You work in a small team of 2. You draw the technical cart together in the entire hotel. You have building knowledge and you know how to organize projects, organize different things and you can also outsource certain parts of the work.

What are you bringing?

• Residing in Utrecht, Lombok, or the surrounding area and you have a drivers license B;

• Dutch or English speaking;

• Technically skilled and an independent hard worker. A related diploma is a plus;

• A lover of old buildings with an eye for detail and quality;

• A good planner;

• Resilient when things go wrong and creative and handy with solutions;

• Familiar with technical laws and regulations for hotels.

This position is for 3 to 4 days per week. The salary reflects your responsibilities and experience.
