Banqueting Operations Manager (FT) - Hoofddorp

Education and Work Experience

• Completed hospitality education at MBO/HBO level.

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.

Other Requirements

• Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus.

• Excellent knowledge of room setups for various types of events.

• Proven experience in effectively planning and structuring daily operations.

• Proven knowledge in the field of F&B.

• Commercial mindset and financially savvy.

• Experience with InOne, Nostradamus, Opera PMS, and Micros Simphony is a plus.

• Technical understanding of audiovisual possibilities is a plus.

What will your workdays look like?

• You are responsible for the day-to-day operations of all meeting rooms, including smooth communication with group contacts and coordination with our sales department, head chef, and on-floor team.

• Together with the Restaurant Manager, you manage efficient and effective staffing, while also overseeing room layouts and maintaining and developing operational procedures.

• You prepare financial reports, including a monthly forecast, and take action based on your findings.

• You coach and inspire your team to deliver high-quality service.

• You will create and implement a training plan to ensure high standards of presentation and performance within the banqueting team.
