Your day starts at 06-07am depending on your shift. You start with a coffee and you still have time to catch up with your colleagues. Breakfast starts at 07:00 AM. When the first guests come in you greet and ask them about their stay. You note the room number and ask if there are any special wishes. If there are questions from the guests you answer them in the best possible way. You enjoy taking the extra step and making the connection with the guests.

You notice that the items on the buffet go very fast and you already start preparing new items so that they can be refilled when finished. After a few weeks you have completely found your way! You know how to speak to the guests in a friendly way and ensure that they can enjoy their breakfast without worry. When breakfast is over you prepare the products for the next day, thoroughly clean the buffet & kitchen and check if any items need to be ordered with our suppliers. Around 14:00 PM your shift is finished and you go home feeling satisfied. There are plenty of opportunities for you to grow in the company. Tasks and responsibilities

• You are a host to our guests. You enjoy having a chat with the guests and you do it with enthusiasm;
• You are responsible for the entire preparation, supplementing and ordering of breakfast;
• You take care of cleaning the buffet & kitchen;
• Job requirementsCommunicative skills in the English and/or Dutch language;
• You are able to reach the hotel any day of the week at 06am at the latest by bike, car or public transport;
• Being attentive to the wishes of guests and complying with the set rules.

On the 4th of August 2012, the hotel Holiday Inn Express Utrecht - Papendorp opened its 118 hotel rooms for the world. The hotel has the Great Room, where guests can enjoy breakfast, dinner and entertainment. The business center has all the necessities for business guests. In addition, the hotel has two modern meeting rooms, so that business guests are well catered for here. The hotel is located next to the A2 & A12 and only 10 minutes away from the Jaarbeurs, Central Station and the largest indoor shopping center in the Netherlands, Hoog Catharijne. This makes it ideal that parking is free. With the right attitude, growth within our hotels is in everyone's reach.
