Chef de Partie

Your responsibilities will include, among others:

  • Assisting the Sous Chef in preparing lunch and dinner dishes, ensuring mise en place is always perfectly organized.

  • Guaranteeing all ingredients are ready on time and of the highest quality for our guests.

  • Monitoring stock at the request of the Chef and ensuring the kitchen is always well supplied.

  • Turning each plate into a true work of art, where detail and aesthetics are essential.

  • Receiving deliveries and inspecting, cleaning, packaging, and processing products according to FIFO guidelines to maintain top quality.

  • Keeping your workstation clean and organized, and ensuring thorough cleaning of the kitchen at the end of your shift.

  • Guiding, instructing, and supporting commis and interns in their professional development.

  • Strictly following HACCP guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic working environment.

  • Actively contributing ideas to improve workflows and methods within the kitchen.

  • Communicating clearly with the team to ensure smooth collaboration during busy service.

  • Reporting possible improvements or points of attention to the Sous Chef or Chef, contributing to the continuous growth of the team.

  • Taking initiative in developing new dishes or suggestions, bringing your creativity to the menu.

Your profile as Chef de Partie:

  • Driven and passionate about further developing yourself within an ambitious kitchen brigade.

  • At least two years of relevant experience in a similar role.

  • Strong leadership qualities and a sense of responsibility.

  • Proactive and independent in decision-making, with a keen eye for detail.

  • Effective both independently and as part of a team.

  • Creative and innovative in designing new dishes and presentations.

  • Professional, welcoming, and warm appearance towards both guests and colleagues.

  • Strong communication skills, with team members as well as suppliers.

  • Resilient under pressure and flexible in adapting to peak moments.

  • Enthusiastic about contributing to improvements in processes and workflows.
