Chef de Rang

As a Chef de Rang at Botanic Sanctuary Antwerp, you play a vital role in creating an unforgettable experience for our guests.

Your responsibilities include:

Welcoming our guests with a warm, professional demeanor and guiding them to their table in a hospitable manner.
Taking orders and advising guests with your knowledge of food and beverages, ensuring they enjoy a top-level culinary experience.
In the absence of the Maître, you are responsible for accurately processing orders and maintaining a smooth service.
Acting as the link between the kitchen and the restaurant, you ensure dishes are served on time, correctly, and with proper etiquette.
Efficiently clearing tables after each course, cleaning, and resetting them to maintain a refined and well-kept dining atmosphere.
Creating the bill and processing payments accurately when the Maître is not present.
Preparing a meticulous mise en place to ensure everything is perfectly ready for seamless service.
Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks according to house standards and with attention to detail.
Communicating directly with the kitchen regarding special requests or allergies to ensure personalized service for every guest.
Monitoring and replenishing stock levels in a timely manner to ensure the team is always well-prepared.

You work with precision and maintain an overview, even during peak service hours.
You have a flexible mindset, can handle stress well, and are open to working weekends and holidays.
You are fluent in Dutch and/ or English, spoken and written. Knowledge of French and/or German is a plus.
