The 4 star Maashotel Rotterdam Centre is, combined under one roof with the 5 star Mainport Hotel Rotterdam, the largest hotel in Rotterdam and one of largest properties in the BeNeLux region that offer 480 rooms and 26.000 m2 to organize meetings and events. The hotel is located in the centre of Rotterdam, at the riverbanks of the Maas and its well-known Erasmus bridge. Due to this location the hotel offers an amazing view on the skyline and city centre of Rotterdam.

Both hotels are under transformation at the moment, whilst continue the operations, as they will be rebranded as Double Tree by Hilton and Curio collection by Hilton in 2024.

As a result of this rebranding you might enjoy the best of both worlds once you start working with us! You will become a part of the Hilton Family and as this property is managed by Cycas Hospitality you are also a true Cycadette. What we ask of you! 

• Ability to solve, repair or maintain (almost) everything;
• Experience in solving different malfunctions of equipment and or installations; 
• Experience in a similar role (bonus);
• English speaking: Dutch is not mandatory;
• Willing to work different shifts, including weekends & holidays;
• You are in the possession of drivers license and car;
• In possession of a valid working permit for the Netherlands ( if you are not from EU/EER or when you are from Switzerland).

What we expects from you!

• First of all, have fun joining Europe’s fastest growing hospitality team!
• Secondly; make sure that all equipment, installations functions according their standards;
• Perform periodic maintenance at equipment, installations and the building itself;
• Solve defects in the hotel rooms or public areas;
• Signal malfunctions and solve them;
• Offer advise over replacements;
• Monitor the inventory of spare parts and keep it up to date;
• Control the maintenance costs;
• Fulfil breakdowns shifts.
