Our team at IHCP is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Duty Manager who is excited about working in a unique dual-branded property in the heart of The Hague!

Imagine two distinctive Marriott brands operating under one roof – Moxy the Hague and Residence Inn by Marriott the Hague. Together, they form the largest hotel in the Hague, offering 311 stylish rooms in the iconic Muzentoren. As part of Marriott International, the world's largest hospitality company, we provide an exciting and dynamic environment where no two days are the same.

As Duty Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth daily operations across both hotels.

DUTY MANAGER

As Duty Manager, you are the operational leader on shift and the face of the hotel. You oversee daily operations, support and coach associates, handle guest relations, and ensure that every department works together seamlessly.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, remain calm under pressure, and lead by example. Your energy, professionalism, and passion for hospitality inspire the team and create memorable guest experiences.

One day you may be supporting a busy Moxy lobby filled with social travelers, and the next day you may be welcoming long-stay Residence Inn guests and ensuring they feel right at home. In this role, you truly get the best of both worlds.

Your Responsibilities

Leading daily hotel operations during your shift
Acting as Manager on Duty and making operational decisions when needed
Supervising and supporting Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Engineering teams
Ensuring excellent guest service and guest satisfaction
Ensuring guest satisfaction and resolving complaints or challenges professionally
Coaching, motivating, and inspiring associates
Monitoring service standards and Marriott brand standards
Monitoring safety of the hotel
Supporting departments during peak periods
Ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming hotel environment
Managing staffing, scheduling, and labor costs
Managing emergency procedures and handling incidents when required
Collaborating closely with department heads and the Operations Manager
Identifying opportunities to improve guest experiences and operational efficiency

Have previous experience in a supervisory or Duty Manager role within hospitality
Have strong leadership and communication skills
Speak English fluently; Dutch is a strong advantage
Enjoy working with people from different cultures and backgrounds
Are flexible and willing to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Stay organized and perform well under pressure
Have excellent guest service skills and a hands-on mentality
Are proactive, solution-oriented, and highly responsible
Have a genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
