As a Finance Assistant, you will support the finance department with various administrative and accounting tasks. You will ensure that the financial processes run smoothly and contribute to accurate and efficient administration.

What will you do?

  • Support the financial controllers and the director of finance with the financial administration of 6 hotels.

  • Booking incoming payments in Exact, e.g. process credit card payments.

  • Preparing payments to creditors.

  • Making memorandum entries.

  • Content administrative checking and analyzing discrepancies.

  • Helping with the monthly closing of the various hotels.

  • Doing VAT returns.

  • Processing financial data in the reporting system (Fairplanner).

  • Ad hoc financial work and preparation of statements.

  • Contributing to the improvement of financial processes and procedures within the organization.

What we ask from you:

  • Minimum MBO working and thinking level. A relevant substantive financial education.

  • Experience in a finance department but we also want to teach you a lot.

  • Good knowledge of excel.

  • An accurate work attitude with an eye for detail.

  • Knowledge of Exact and finance experience in the hospitality industry is a plus.

  • Ability to work a minimum of 4 days (30 hours) to 38 hours per week.

  • Dutch and English very good in word and writing because you have to communicate a lot in both languages.

Location: Our office Hoofddorp/Schiphol for a minimum of 2 days, the other days can be flexibly filled in at our hotels and after a thorough familiarization period occasional work from home is possible.
