In the beating heart of Amsterdam, work is underway on what will undoubtedly soon be one of the city's most iconic buildings. The Diamond is the iconic building that gives Leidseplein a whole new face. The glass, sparkling exterior facade refers to the famous diamond Koh-I-Noor, Persian for 'mountain of light'. With this, the glorious history of Amsterdam, City of Diamonds, is once again anchored in the city.

In The Diamond you will find a unique boutique hotel with 36 luxurious rooms; a table d'hôte restaurant where changing top chefs show their skills in an intimate setting to a group of up to 18 people; the legendary cocktail club, open to members and guests only; a premium steak house; and, of course, the reinvented Heineken Hoek.

With the iconic beer glasses on the roof, the Heineken Hoek was the face of Leidseplein for decades, a familiar place for people from inside and outside the city. The Heineken Hoek returns in a completely contemporary way in the brand-new building. Here you can enjoy classic dishes, an extensive drink menu and you will find a premium steakhouse on the first floor. From breakfast to the late hours: everyone is welcome.

As a waiter/waitress at the Heineken Hoek with its premium Steakhouse, you are responsible for providing excellent service to our guests. Your duties will include welcoming and guiding guests to their tables, taking orders, serving dishes and drinks, and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience. In addition, you will contribute to a clean and organized work environment and work closely with other team members to ensure seamless service.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person with a passion for hospitality and service. You have excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English. Key traits include organizational talent, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work under pressure. A service-oriented attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team are essential for this position.
