Reception and Cafe Team Member

The reception is the crossroads where everyone comes together. Do you enjoy working in an international environment and being around people? Then you might be the new reception and hospitality colleague we are looking for.

Before your shift, you check in with your colleagues and clock in. The atmosphere in our hotel is guest-oriented but certainly not formal. You welcome our guests with a smile and ensure they receive a warm first impression. Additionally, you are the point of contact for all other visitors to the building. Does a guest want to rent a bike? You make sure it’s arranged.

You might also make a delicious cappuccino for guests who are waiting, or you answer incoming questions via email and phone, perform light administrative tasks, and make room reservations. In case of emergencies, you are the first to act and implement the company emergency plan. No day is the same.

Sticking around after your shift? You're not the only one, because working in one of the oldest places in Lombok is great but enjoying it yourself with a closing drink might be even better. Not ready to go home? No problem, as an employee, you get a discount on everything (rooms, food, and drinks) in the hotel.

What are you bringing?

• Living in Utrecht, Lombok, or nearby?

• Presentable, socially skilled, stress-resistant, and guest-oriented?

• Work efficiently, are reliable, and contribute to the team spirit

• Willing to work evenings and weekends

• Have experience in a similar role

• Experience with the reservation system Mews is a plus

What do we offer you?

This position is for 3 to 5 days per week. The salary is in accordance with the hospitality industry collective labor agreement (CAO) and reflects your responsibilities and experience.
