To expand our Front Office team, we are looking for an enthusiastic employee who is inspired and driven.
As a Front Office Employee, you are responsible for welcoming our guests and providing excellent service during their stay at our hotel. You are the first point of contact for guests and ensure that they feel welcome immediately.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Welcoming and checking in guests
- Providing service at our hotel bar
- Providing information about the hotel and the area
- Answering telephone calls and e-mails - Handling payments and invoicing
- Managing hotel reservations and maintaining availability
- Resolving problems and complaints from guests
- Ensuring good cooperation with other departments within the hotel
Who are you?
You are fluent, professional and fun in communication (English and Dutch) with guests and your colleagues. You have a positive attitude. you are proud of your job and an ambassador for the hotel and the Schiphol - Amsterdam region. You consciously choose a job in a hotel.
You are also:
Service minded;
Representative;
Proactive / enterprising;
Solution-oriented;
Living in the Schiphol and/or Amsterdam area.
And you have:
A flexible attitude;
Self-confidence;
A good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing (a second foreign language is an advantage);
Education at least at MBO level;
Preferably experience as a Receptionist / Front Office Assistant in a hotel;
Knowledge of Opera or similar PMS system;
Knowledge of Microsoft Office;
Broad knowledge of Amsterdam and Schiphol and surroundings;
Recent First Aid (BHV) certificate (or willing to obtain this);
Certificate in Social Hygiene (or willing to obtain one).
