As a Guest Service Agent at the Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel, you will work within the Front Office of the international meeting place of Schiphol Airport. You will be active in the various Front Office outlets and become part of a team consisting of Guest Service Agents, Front Office Trainees, Front Office Supervisors, the Assistant Front Office Manager, and the Front Office Manager.
Key Responsibilities
As a Guest Service Agent, your main tasks and responsibilities include:
Providing all guests of the Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel with a warm and professional welcome.
Supplying guests with information on a wide range of topics, such as the hotel, the surrounding area, and partner hotels abroad.
Checking guests in and out, while creating a personal connection to ensure an unforgettable stay.
Encouraging room revenue by offering paid room upgrades to guests.
Handling all administrative tasks within the Front Office.
Preventing and resolving guest complaints, if necessary in consultation with the Front Office Supervisor or Manager.
Contributing to the highest possible level of guest satisfaction.
Answering and transferring all incoming and outgoing telephone calls.
Maintaining a positive and professional working relationship with colleagues.
Performing porter duties when required.

Work Experience & Requirements
You have completed an MBO Level 4 or HBO education.
You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Experience in a similar role is required.
Experience working in a 4- or 5-star hotel is considered an advantage.
You speak English fluently
