Hotel Spaander is an authentic and atmospheric hotel/restaurant with a pub, inn, two restaurants, and a large terrace by the water. In the restaurant, we offer lunch and dinner menus featuring exclusively homemade and fresh products. Besides dining, guests can also enjoy drinks in the pub. Additionally, we have multiple versatile rooms suitable for various meetings and events.

Hotel Spaander is currently seeking an enthusiastic colleague to strengthen our reception team. As the Head Receptionist, you will be responsible for coordinating the reception team, creating schedules, encouraging an exceptional service level, promoting upselling and cross-selling, and performing duty management tasks.

• You are friendly, enthusiastic, and hospitable.
• Willingness to work in varying shifts, on weekends, and holidays.
• Flexibility and stress resistance are your strengths.
• You present yourself in a neat and well-groomed manner.
• You excel in both teamwork and independent work.
• Minimum vocational education (MBO) level.
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory position.
• Proficiency in at least English and preferably multiple languages.
• Knowledge of the local area, specifically Volendam, is a plus.
• A strong focus on sales and service.
