About Mister Highland Hotel
Mister Highland Hotel is a fully renovated boutique hotel, located in a beautiful historic building on the Rokin, in the vibrant heart of Amsterdam. The hotel combines the charm of a traditional Amsterdam property with a modern and stylish interior, creating a unique and luxurious experience for every guest.
To maintain these high standards every day, we are looking for an enthusiastic Housekeeping Employee who takes pride in their work. You will ensure that our guest rooms and public areas are always spotless and welcoming, playing an essential role in delivering an exceptional guest experience. Together with a close-knit team, you will help maintain the quality and appearance that make Mister Highland Hotel a special place to stay.
What will you do?
As a Housekeeping Employee, you are responsible for ensuring our hotel rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and welcoming for every guest. Your responsibilities include:
Making beds according to our quality standards.
Thoroughly cleaning bathrooms and sanitary facilities.
Vacuuming, mopping, and dusting furniture and decorative items.
Inspecting rooms for maintenance issues and replenishing guest amenities and supplies.
Good to know: Working in housekeeping is physically demanding and requires you to work at a fast pace. It's hard work, but you'll be part of a close-knit team where colleagues are always ready to support each other.
Who are we looking for?
You are reliable, motivated, and committed to delivering quality.
You are physically fit and enjoy hands-on work.
Previous housekeeping experience is an advantage, but not required. If you're motivated, we'll gladly teach you everything you need to know.
You have a basic command of Dutch and/or English.
You can work independently but also enjoy being part of a team.
Who will you work with?
You will be part of our housekeeping team and work closely with your colleagues, the Front Office team, the Housekeeping Manager, and regularly with the Hotel Manager.
