Hotel Spaander is an iconic hotel located on the harbour of Volendam, where hospitality, quality, and history come together. For our housekeeping department, we are looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor who ensures structure, quality, and a high standard of cleanliness and service.
The role
As Housekeeping Supervisor, you are responsible for the daily supervision of the housekeeping team and for maintaining the quality and progress of all cleaning activities throughout the hotel. You work hands-on when needed and act as a key link between housekeeping, front office, and hotel management.
Your responsibilities
Supervise, guide, and motivate the housekeeping team
Inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and quality
Create and manage daily work schedules
Ensure compliance with cleaning, safety, and quality standards
Identify maintenance issues and manage inventory needs
Train and onboard new team members
Your profile
Experience in housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory role
Strong attention to detail and high quality standards
Good organisational and communication skills
Proactive, flexible, and independent work attitude
Guest-oriented, reliable, and stress-resistant
