Independent cook - Italian kitchen

Hotel The Anthony is looking for an independent cook for the hotel's only kitchen that doesn’t mind working mornings or evenings. The café is the beating heart of the hotel where everything comes together. As the new independent cook, you will be primarily responsible for the all-day café with an Italian vitrine concept. You will also take care of the breakfast buffet in the restaurant a few times per week and support the events department.

The quality and presentation of the food, together with a positive team atmosphere, are our priorities. You have knowledge of Italian cuisine, are naturally flexible, and do not give up easily. Above all, you have a passion for the profession and enjoy contributing to the development of a growing hotel.

Your responsibilities:

• Preparing dishes for the all-day Italian café concept

• Taking care of setting the breakfast buffet (2 days p/w)

• Co-developing and creating new dishes for the Italian concept

• Monitoring hygiene and food safety regulations (HACCP).

• Mise-en-place. 

• Supporting events, parties and group reservations.

What are you bringing?

• Demonstrable experience as an independent working cook.

• Knowledge of and affinity with Italian cuisine.

• Flexibility in working hours weekends, mornings and evenings

• Independence and team spirit.

• Stress resistance and a proactive work attitude.
