Opposite Amsterdam Central Station, the NH Collection Amsterdam Barbizon Palace hotel is right in the center of Amsterdam. The building itself is a highlight too, with beautiful architecture, and 268 bedrooms spread across over 19 buildings from the 17th-century houses. Our five-star hotel has all possible facilities under one roof. A real showpiece is our Michelin-starred restaurant, Vermeer. It's one of 2 places you can dine, plus there's our exquisite Bottles & Jars Bar in addition to various meeting and event facilities such as the monumental 15th-century chapel Olofskapel. You are the person we are looking for! What are you going to do?

This is the most all-round internship out there, you are everywhere, and you know everyone, both guests and colleagues. You are the point of contact for our guests, in particular our VIP guests, and for contact persons from events as well. You are the vital link between the different departments, and you are always looking for special ways to surprise our guests.

You come up with new and creative ideas and you inspire your colleagues to contribute to them as well. In addition, you ensure that work processes are improved, that all areas are neat and tidy and that we continue to provide guests with an "Extraordinary" experience in a unique way. Furthermore, you give tours of the hotels for potential new guests, resolve complaints and you share your knowledge about the hotel and city.
