Are you looking for an internship with social relevance, where your efforts make an impact on people worldwide? Do you want to learn more about the Sustainable Development Goals and discover everything about the sales and events profession? Then we have the perfect internship for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Identifying client needs for a wide range of events, from a job interview for two people to a dance party for 600 guests.
Providing tours so guests can experience our unique venues firsthand.
Preparing contracts and quotations.
Exceeding customer expectations by going above and beyond their needs.
Handling the administrative process of event coordination.
Conducting evaluation meetings and follow-up conversations with clients.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Planning, organizing, and coordinating various events, parties, and meetings from A to Z.
Contributing ideas to improve internal procedures, products, and pricing.

Skills & Qualifications

You are driven and energetic.
You work accurately and in an organized manner.
You use a creative mindset to identify the right opportunities for collaboration with clients.
You are social and able to respond well to client needs (during tours, by email, or over the phone).
You have a good command of both Dutch and English.
You possess strong communication skills.
Knowledge of Excel and Word, and preferably experience with reservation systems such as Salesforce.
A strong interest in sales and event organization.

Compensation

What can you expect from us as an intern?
You’ll be working in a monumental and historic building in the heart of Amsterdam, within a pleasant work atmosphere and a diverse team. You’ll gain valuable experience in an organization with a clear social mission — how great is that!

You will receive an internship allowance of €750 per month and can join the Kettlebell training every Monday to stay fit. In addition, we organize fun team outings, the annual staff party, and both a summer and winter get-together. We also provide the time and support you need for your graduation thesis.

And last but not least: you’ll get the chance to truly learn the ins and outs of the sales and events profession!
