We are looking for a Junior HR Business Partner to join the HR team at International Hotel Capital Partners (IHCP) and grow with us!

In this varied HR role, you will work at cluster level within the HR team, which, in addition to your role, consists of 1 HR Business Partner, an HR Director, a Learning & Development Coordinator, an HR Administrator and an HR Trainee. You will support multiple hotels (currently Mercure Hotel Amersfoort and Moxy Hotel Schiphol) and act as the point of contact for hotel management and staff.
Purpose of the role
As a junior HRBP, you act as a tactical sparring partner for hotel management. You translate HR strategy into day-to-day practice and provide support on both organisation-wide and hotel-specific HR issues such as staff planning and forecasting, staff turnover, absenteeism, recruitment and payroll. You are visible on the shop floor, monitor compliance with legislation and regulations (Horeca collective agreement), and play an active role in the development and well-being of staff (+(+/- 90).
Your responsibilities will include:
Advising and consulting with the leadership teams in the hotels on how HR will help achieve strategic goals
Contributing ideas and making suggestions regarding staffing levels that align with business operations
Providing support with recruitment, absence management and development issues
Monitoring recruitment, progression and staff turnover via SDWorx
Collaborating with the HR administrator, HR Business Partner and L&D coordinator
Participating in HR networks and internal project groups
Contributing to HR innovation and knowledge sharing within the hotel group
Making requested and unrequested proposals for improving HR processes and procedures
Knowledge:
A bachelor degree, preferably in HRM or hospitality management
Several years’ experience in an HR role, preferably within the hospitality sector
Experience with automated HR systems
Knowledge of employment law and current HR trends
Skills:
Advisory skills and the ability to persuade
Solution-oriented and analytical
Organisational awareness and a hands-on approach
Able to work fluently in English and Dutch
Discreet, honest and empathetic
