About the place

Work in the kitchen without needing to be a chef, but still be part of a place where something new is being built. In a hotel restaurant in the Tilburg region, a new hospitality concept has recently started. You help with the preparation, make pizzas according to a fixed method and make sure the snack bar is ready for the day.

You will work at a lively location where hotel guests and day guests come for lunch, dinner or a snack. Because the concept is new, there is still plenty of room to build rhythm, structure and quality together.

The location is run by a family business that takes good care of its people. You will work together with an international team and help make sure the kitchen and snack bar run smoothly.

The role

As a kitchen assistant, you support the daily kitchen preparation and operation. You do not need to be a chef, and experience with pizzas is not required.

You work in a practical way, keep your workstation clean and organized, and step up when it gets busy. The work is clear, active and hands-on. During busy moments, it is important that you keep an overview, think ahead and keep going.

What will you do?

Prepare mise en place for the kitchen and snack bar
Make pizzas according to a fixed method
Help open and prepare the snack bar for the day
Prepare orders neatly and on time
Keep your workstation clean, tidy and organized
Work together with colleagues from an international team
Keep up the pace during busy moments
Help build a new hospitality concept within a hotel restaurant

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is practical, hands-on and enjoys working in a kitchen environment. You do not need to have culinary training, but you do need to work neatly, quickly and in an organized way.

You are reliable, motivated and able to work well with others. During busy moments, you stay calm and make sure orders leave the kitchen correctly and on time.

What do we offer?

€17.67 per hour, including holiday allowance and vacation days
24 to 38 hours per week
Flexible start date, preferably as soon as possible
