The Maintenance Associate plays an important role in ensuring that all technical installations, equipment, and facilities within the hotel are maintained to the highest standard. As part of the Engineering team, the Maintenance Associate performs preventive and corrective maintenance tasks and contributes to a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for guests and associates.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Perform daily maintenance and repair work throughout the hotel.
Resolve technical issues and defects in a timely and efficient manner.
Carry out preventive maintenance according to established schedules.
Assist with inspections of technical installations, equipment, and facilities.
Ensure maintenance activities are accurately recorded and reported.
Support the management and organization of tools, materials, and maintenance stock.
Respond to maintenance requests from guests and departments in a professional and service-oriented manner.
Contribute to maintaining a safe working environment and comply with all health and safety regulations.
Support improvement projects and assist in maintaining the overall condition of the hotel.

The Maintenance Associate reports directly to the Engineering Supervisor and works closely with the Chief Engineer and other hotel departments to ensure smooth daily operations.

You are:

Flexible, service-oriented, proactive, and hands-on.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
A team player with good communication skills.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a maintenance, engineering, or technical role, preferably within hospitality.
Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
Fluent in Dutch; English is a plus.
Experience with Microsoft Office is an advantage.
BMI certification is a plus.
