Do you find satisfaction in welcoming guests and enjoy acting as the point of contact for all their questions, even during the night? Then we are looking for you as our night receptionist!

Are you an independent, enthusiastic night owl with a strong focus on service? Do you enjoy welcoming guests, guiding them during their stay in our hotel and keeping watch while everyone else sleeps? Do you have sufficient technical insight, so that you can also lend a helping hand conveniently at night? If you are that night time jack-of-all-trades who performs all these tasks with a smile, then we are looking for you!

Maxhotel Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is a smart budget hotel and offers a wonderful stay near Amsterdam's airport, Schiphol. We offer affordable, comfortable rooms. All rooms have a private bathroom, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and a grab & go space with drinks and snacks. Superior rooms are upgraded with wired internet, a laptop safe, and extra room space. The smart choice for both tourists and business travelers, we make the journey to or from Amsterdam even more relaxed at MaxHotel Schiphol.

What you will do:

• Greeting guests with friendliness and helpfulness even during late hours.
• Perform night audit to check financial transactions and update hotel records.
• Process check-in and check-out procedures for guests arriving or leaving overnight.
• Manage security procedures and ensure the safety of guests and property during the night shift.
• Maintain an orderly reception desk and lobby.
• Overseeing nightly telephone calls and requests.
• Preparing reports and administrative tasks for the following day.
• Ensuring smooth operation of the hotel during night hours.
• Responding to emergency situations according to established procedures.
• And other tasks related to managing the front desk during night hours.

• Travel allowance possibilities for a commuting distance of more than 5KM up to a limit of €150,- per month
• A salary according to the hospitality industry collective agreement (CAO)
• Pension contribution in accordance with the hospitality industry CAO
• 25 vacation days per year (based on full-time employment)
• Do you have knowledge of fire safety? You can then (re)obtain the BHV (Emergency Response Officer) certificate.

• Who are you?+/- 1-2 years of front office experience
• No experience? No problem! But you will need to convince us extra in your cover letter
• Fluent in English. Dutch and other languages are a plus
• Ability to make independent decisions
• Handle the freedom and responsibilities that come with this role
• Have the flexibility and mentality required in the hospitality industry
• You are flexible and available from Monday to Sunday from 23:00 – 7:00.
• You are legally allowed to work in The Netherlands.
