Will you watch over our guests safety at night? And can you work independently? Then you might be a match! We are looking for a responsible night receptionist for 16 to 32 hours a week.

About Mother Goose

Mother Goose is situated right in the heart of the historical city centre. The building of Mother Goose is soaked in history, which we absolutely adore. Each of our uniquely designed rooms has its very own character, spread across 4 floors which all have an individual colour theme. Some rooms offer spectacular views of the beautiful city and landmark, the Dom Tower. Staying with us is everything but a traditional hotel experience. We welcome guests under our wings!

Job description

As a night receptionist you are responsible for guarding our guests and the hotel at night, taking care of night audits and reception tasks. We offer you a varied and dynamic position in a young, hospitable and enthusiastic team.

The tasks and responsibilities are:

Perform front desk duties such as:
Check-in and check-out, providing information, letting guests in after hours, answering questions and providing great service
Overseeing the general safety of guests and employees
Reporting irregularities, taking appropriate measures and, if necessary, warning internal/external officials and/or authorities in accordance with regulations/emergency plan;
Accompanying guests in emergency situations, providing information and instructions
Daily financial check of the payments and accounts
Process booked consumptions on guest accounts
Preparation of various sales overviews.
Checking and issuing invoices.
Other financial and administrative tasks

We are looking for:

Someone with experience as a night receptionist in hotels, preferably hotels in the higher segment
You are flexible, motivated and independent
You are guest-oriented and like to go the extra mile for the guests
Someone who thinks independently and solves problems
You share our core values: open, honest and respectful
You are decisive
You speak English fluently, Dutch to a basic level (or willing to learn), a third language is a plus.
Possession of a BHV diploma is an advantage
You are available at least 2 days a week between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m
