Do you prefer a diverse job where you won’t be bored? Do you like to get your hands dirty and thrive on producing quality results? Than we are looking for you! An enthusiastic and passionate Public Area / Stewarding Attendant at Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West! 

We do things differently! New hotel, new chance to set up things differently. We choose to combine public area-, back of house cleaning and stewarding into one Facility All-round position. Because we think that combining tasks within different work areas is FUN!

Like the sound of that? Curious about how a day will look like? 

To kick off your day, you will start with collecting your keys, phone and other materials during the handover. A small chit-chat with your colleagues and you are ready to go! Full of enthusiasm you start cleaning and refreshing the main entrance and lobby. All fingerprints need to be removed of the glass and the carpet need to be cleaned. You meet some guests in the lobby whom have some questions for you and with a big smile you will assist them! Then it’s time to work in the fresh air. You remove any debris of the Piazza and in front of the entrance. If you have had enough fresh air, you go inside for a cup of coffee and have some fun with colleagues. After your coffee break you start picking-up the dirty linen and garbage from the housekeeping pantries, all your housekeeping collegues will be Happy with you! Another round of toilet refreshing are on the list and than it’s already dinner time! A good, fresh and healthy dinner is waiting for you in the canteen. When you’re refueled it’s time for your swift swap! In the restaurant dinner is just started and the first dirty plates and cups are already waiting for you in the stewarding. There is a good vibe within the stewarding department and together with a colleague you clean all the plates and cups smoothly. Hard work is paid off, so it is time for another cup of coffee. After that refreshing cup of coffee the last plates and cups are waiting for that evening and than it’s time to clean the stewarding. The end of your shift is almost there.. only the handover to your colleagues and you’re finished for that day!

Your tasks & responsibilities: 

•  Indepently working in shifts (morning-, evening-, nightshifts)
• Ensuring the highest level of cleanliness in our 20 meeting rooms, restaurants and other public areas
• Ensuring every corner of the hotel is dust free and shining for our guests
• Keeping our kitchens & stewarding areas neat & clean
• Help guests when needed and always with a smile!

What we are looking for:

• You are passionate about cleanliness, no matter where!
• You understand that a hotel opening is a lot of hard work and requires stamina & flexibility, but also a lot of fun!
• You are eager to make a success of this new role and becoming an allrounder
• You have a hands-on mentality and a flexible attitude towards shift tasks & shift patterns
• You have good English communication skills; Dutch would be a bonus!
• You have a valid work permit & BSN registration (if applicable) and health insurance
