Restuarant & Banqueting Manager - Maastricht

What will you do?

As a Restaurant & Banquet Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations of our restaurant and banqueting facilities at our hotel in Maastricht. You will lead the team, manage the lunch, dinner, and event operations, and ensure exceptional guest experiences through excellent service and attention to detail. Your responsibilities include:

• Overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of restaurant services during lunch and dinner, as well as banqueting events.

• Creating staff schedules and ensuring optimal staffing levels to support daily operations and upcoming events.

• Leading, coaching, motivating, and developing the restaurant and banquet team to deliver outstanding service standards.

• Ensuring a consistent and high level of guest satisfaction by maintaining quality, efficiency, and attention to detail.

• Planning, coordinating, and supervising banquets, meetings, and special events from preparation to completion.

• Anticipating guest needs and creating personalized experiences for special occasions and events.

• Handling guest feedback and service recovery professionally, ensuring complaints are resolved effectively and with care.

• Working closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth communication, quality, and timely service.

• Managing daily administration, controlling costs, monitoring supplies, and ensuring efficient use of resources.

• Ensuring compliance with company standards, operational procedures, and food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP).

Who are we looking for?

As a Restaurant & Banqueting Manager, you are a guest-focused professional with strong leadership skills and experience within Food & Beverage. You know how to motivate a team, manage daily operations efficiently, and work together with your team to create an excellent guest experience.

You have:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership F&B role within the hotel or hospitality industry.

• Experience as a Restaurant Manager, Banqueting Manageror a similar leadership position.

• Experience managing restaurant, dinner, and banqueting operations.

• Strong organizational skills and experience with staff scheduling.

• Natural leadership qualities and excellent communication skills.

• A guest-oriented, solution-focused, and stress-resistant mindset.

• Experience with cost control, administration, and F&B procedures.

• Good knowledge of POS systems and hospitality standards.

• Good command of English and preferably a good level of Dutch to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
