Radisson Hotel Amsterdam Schiphol Airport has just opened a 4-star airport hotel, and we are looking for a driven and strategic Sales Manager to take ownership of our sales and marketing performance. With 281 rooms, 6 meeting and event spaces, and the dynamic energy of a just brand new opened hotel phase, this is your opportunity to position the hotel in the market, build strong relationships, and drive revenue growth from day one.
As Sales Manager, you are responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring both sales and marketing strategies to achieve the hotel’s commercial objectives. You combine strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, ensuring your team performs at its best while identifying new opportunities in a competitive market.
You play a key role in strengthening our brand position, building long-term client relationships, and translating market insights into concrete actions that deliver results.
Your responsibilities include:
Developing and executing the overall commercial strategy, translating it into clear sales and marketing plans
Leading and coaching the sales and marketing team to optimize performance and processes
Analyzing market trends and identifying new business opportunities, both locally in the Haarlemmermeer region and nationally and internationally as well
Driving revenue growth and achieving sales and marketing targets
Building, maintaining, and expanding relationships with key clients across all segments (corporate, leisure, meetings & events)
Managing budgets effectively in line with market developments and competition
Monitoring performance and reporting commercial results to the General Manager
Collaborating closely with other departments to ensure alignment and a seamless guest experience
You are a strategic thinker with a strong commercial mindset and a natural leader who knows how to inspire and motivate a team. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are driven to achieve measurable results.
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience in a commercial leadership role, preferably within both sales and marketing
Strong strategic, analytical, and commercial skills
Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Good understanding of market trends and the hospitality industry
Experience in driving performance and achieving targets
Proactive, results-oriented, and hands-on mentality
Fluent in English and Dutch
