Are you the designated Chef de Partie who wants to join our team? Can you also lead 2 colleagues who handle breakfast? Then we are looking for you!

For our restaurant Clockwise, located in the Mercure Hotel Amersfoort Centre, we are looking for an enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join our young team. Mercure is part of International Hotel Capital Partners (IHCP), a hotel management company with a portfolio of six hotels.

We expect flexibility in terms of working hours and innovation. We aim to surprise our guests and pamper them culinarily from breakfast to dinner.

Fresh and healthy products are two key focal points in our kitchen. We also expect you to find it challenging to think creatively and be innovative.

In summary:

• Leading the Kitchen
• Coordinating and preparing the à la carte dinner
• Preparing dishes with fresh ingredients
• Ensuring compliance with HACCP
• Independently performing mise-en-place tasks
• Ensuring product quality
• Cleaning the work environment and kitchen equipment
• Contributing to menu creation
• Reporting to the General Manager

We are looking for someone who is proactive, presentable, and willing to roll up their sleeves. We also expect you to join us in the challenge of making our restaurant a success by coming up with innovative ideas.

Experience in ordering and HACCP is advantageous.

Profile of the independent working chef:

• Minimum of two years of experience in leading a kitchen
• Good command of Dutch and English languages
• Good social skills
• No 9-5 mentality
• Affinity with the hospitality industry
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining overview.
