Melle Pegman studied at Hotelschool The Hague and, even before completing his studies, he swapped The Hague for Amsterdam. He completed his final internship at the Hilton Amsterdam , where he quickly felt right at home.
After his internship, Melle remained with Hilton and began his career as a Banqueting Shift Leader . He soon expanded his Food & Beverage experience as an F&B Supervisor in both the Half Moon Lounge and the Banqueting department.
From January 2010 onwards, Melle combined his role at Hilton with his ambassadorship for Hotelvrijmibo . Later that year, he and Jacob decided to expand to the London market. This led to the creation of HotelFridays, the English counterpart of Hotelvrijmibo.
In addition to his many years of experience in Food & Beverage, Melle chose to broaden his expertise by gaining experience at the Front Office. He took on the role of Front Office Supervisor . Eventually, he returned to the Banqueting department as Manager .
During the final period of his career at Hilton, the idea for Hotelprofessionals was further developed and refined.
