Room Mate Aitana opened its door in august 2013 and counts 285 spacious, bright and luxurious rooms, meetings rooms, a ballroom, a gym, Lounge, a marina and hosts a modern international restaurant with Spanish flavours.

What will you be doing?
As Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, you support the Food & Beverage Manager in leading all daily F&B operations within the hotel. You are a visible leader on the floor, working flexible shifts including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and are responsible for the restaurant, cocktail bar, and banqueting operations. Your focus is on delivering outstanding guest experiences while supporting operational excellence and leading a team of supervisors, waiters and barkeepers.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Service Excellence

• Ensure a warm, high-quality guest experience across all F&B outlets

• Supervise breakfast, lunch, and dinner services according to the schedule

• Oversee daily operations of the cocktail bar, ensuring service quality, product knowledge, and atmosphere

• Support and coordinate special events and banquets

• Actively promote menus, cocktails, and seasonal promotions

Team Leadership & Training

• Support staff scheduling and shift planning for Restaurant, Cocktail Bar, Kitchen, and Banqueting

• Train, coach, and motivate team members on service standards and guest interaction

• Contribute to a positive, service-driven team culture

Operations & Coordination

• Support menu updates, launches, and seasonal offerings

• Assist in developing beverage concepts and cocktail promotions

Inventory, Purchasing & Cost Control

• Monitor inventory levels for food, beverages, and supplies

• Assist with ordering, receiving, and monthly stock counts

• Ensure correct storage, FIFO procedures, and par level management

• Support food & beverage cost control, including reviewing orders in BirchStreet in line with forecasts and event planning

Financial & POS Support

• Assist with daily sales reporting and cash handling

• Monitor POS transactions and resolve discrepancies

Hygiene, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure cleanliness of all service, bar, storage, and kitchen areas

• Enforce food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards in accordance with Bureau de Witt guidelines

• Monitor compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
